Oh God the One who knows us and the One who redeems us, 

You know our sinful ways and yet still hold us dear. 

We pray for Your grace, to be able to give up our OLD PATTERNS, 

So that we are Transformed into New Creations with a New IDENTITY.

Oh God, the true light of the world, 

You know how much we need your light, 

We pray for clarity so as to not block the light for others, 

So that our actions can accurately and lovingly reflect Your infinite light.

Oh God of the big picture,

You know we have dilemmas in making decisions.

We Pray for discernment for which way to follow and that we are open to the Holy Spirit.

So that our decisions are made with clear heads and open hearts!

Amen

Oh God who knows the rhythms of our lives. 

You know our negative repetitive thinking that keeps us prisoners of our own minds. 

We pray for your comfort and steadfastness. 

So that we can become content, knowing and learning about You and sharing that comfort and love with others. 

Amen

Dear God, I know you are there always 

You want to show me to bloom where I am planted 

I pray that I will allow you 

So that I can blossom.

O God, whose ways are unknowable

I pray when I encounter Brother Fear, Sister Stillness holds his hand and mine

O that I may have a glimpse of your unknowable knowledge.

Dear God who is not controlled by time or circumstance 

You are present in the silence and in the noise and pain we often suffer 

I Pray that your promises are true and that I can accept them fully. 

So that my own circumstances and pain do not overtake me.

Oh Loving Shepherd 

You know our wandering ways and our disconnections to all of your creatures 

We pray you pick us up when we need to be and we pick up others when they need us 

So that your flock will always be complete as we walk each other home 

Amen

Oh God, you know our hearts in our deepest thoughts. 

You know we can be fearful, and prone to following the mob. We attempt to protect ourselves at the expense of others. 

We pray for courage to honestly examine ourselves and to affect positive change 

So that we can become more like You. 

Amen

Oh God, of all of our seasons, 

You know our inevitable winters of discontent and grief. 

We pray for mindfulness for ourselves and others’ winters, 

So that in immersing ourselves in our winters, we are open to our connection with God and others.
